Sue Gibson LRPS, CPAGB, AFIAP, BPE1*
I joined the club in 2010, having been to several social evenings and I was made very welcome.
My first camera was a Canon 3OD - with no prior experience of using a camera, this has taken me on a journey which I can honestly say has been a steep learning curve to develop my knowledge and skills especially in processing.
I enjoy the challenge of pushing myself further and have been supported and encouraged by my husband and members of the club to do
so.
In entering competitions whether it be local, national or International level this has developed my appreciation of photography in different genres.
This has led me to the personal challenge of entering for different photographic awards, each award has different criteria and this does make you stop and think about what you would like to achieve. One thing I do know is that you never stop learning!
My style of photography has changed slightly over the years, I would not have thought of taking portraits a couple of years ago but as you can see they feature in my gallery.
Hope you enjoy my work.
